Five weeks ago we started this project with great enthusiasm. The first meeting with Maaike van Rozenburg went well, so we thought, but after the meeting we were all a little bit confused about what we had to do exactly. Broadly speaking, the idea was clearly but what we had to do exactly and most of all how was still a mystery.

Met dit project hebben we onderzocht wat de mogelijkheden zijn met de Structure Sensor. Dit is een nieuw soort 3D scanner die via een iPad bediend kan worden. Hij scant naast geometrische informatie ook kleur. Omdat het apparaat nog vrij nieuw is en er nog weinig over bekend is hebben we de mogelijkheden onderzocht. Grotere objecten worden heel grof en met weinig detail gescand. Ook de scans van ruimtes zijn voorlopig nog onbruikba.
